Por qué

El fuste tradicional se hace en madera: se pudre, se agrieta, pesa y exige repararse cada temporada. Nosotros moldeamos el fuste en polietileno virgen de alta densidad — el mismo material con el que se fabrican tuberías industriales — usando moldes hechos a mano que podemos adaptar a las necesidades de cada cliente. El resultado resiste el golpe, cede sin romperse y no lastima al caballo. A traditional saddle tree is made from wood: it rots, splits, weighs and needs repair every season. We mold the tree in virgin high-density polyethylene — the same material used for industrial pipe — using hand-built molds we can adapt to each client's needs. The result absorbs impact, flexes instead of cracking, and won't hurt the horse.

El Hato Pascher no empezó en una fábrica. Empezó en un galpón de Villa de Cura, en 1983, con un hombre que ideó, diseñó y perfeccionó todo un proceso de fabricación para reemplazar el fuste de madera por uno de polietileno. El Hato Pascher didn't start in a factory. It started in a workshop in Villa de Cura, in 1983, with one man who invented, designed and perfected an entire process to replace the wooden saddle tree with a polyethylene one.

Cuando el fundador falleció, sus dos hijos tomaron el taller. Con ellos quedó el conocimiento completo del oficio — los moldes, las fórmulas, la mano — y la responsabilidad de seguir fabricando como siempre.

When the founder passed away, his two sons took over the workshop. With them remained the full knowledge of the craft — the molds, the formulas, the feel — and the duty to keep making it the same way.

Vendemos fustes a ganaderos, jinetes y talabarterías. Los talabarteros los forran — en cuero fino para piezas de alta gama o con poco cuero y sintéticos para monturas más económicas y resistentes. El fuste EHP llega igual a la silla de exhibición y a la montura de trabajo diario.

We sell trees to ranchers, riders and saddlers. Saddlers wrap them — in fine leather for high-end pieces, or with minimal leather and synthetics for affordable, tougher builds. The same EHP tree ends up in a show saddle and in daily ranch tack.

¿Qué es exactamente un fuste?What exactly is a saddle tree?
El fuste es el esqueleto interno de la montura — la estructura que sostiene al jinete y distribuye el peso sobre el lomo del caballo. Lo que se ve por fuera (cuero, badana, herrajes) es trabajo del talabartero. Lo que va por dentro, hecho por nosotros, es lo que define si la montura es cómoda, duradera y segura.
The saddle tree is the internal skeleton of the saddle — the structure that supports the rider and distributes weight across the horse's back. What you see on the outside (leather, padding, hardware) is the saddler's work. What's inside, made by us, is what defines whether the saddle is comfortable, durable and safe.
¿Por qué HDPE en vez de madera?Why HDPE instead of wood?
El HDPE virgen no se pudre, no absorbe agua, no se agrieta y absorbe el golpe sin fracturarse — la madera se rompe, el HDPE cede y vuelve. En clima tropical y trabajo de campo la diferencia es enorme: un fuste EHP dura más de 40 años; uno de madera, 8 a 12 con mantenimiento anual.
Virgin HDPE doesn't rot, doesn't absorb water, doesn't crack and absorbs impact without fracturing — wood breaks, HDPE flexes and returns. In tropical climate and ranch work the difference is huge: an EHP tree lasts 40+ years; a wooden one, 8 to 12 with yearly maintenance.

Sí. Garantía de fábrica de 2 años contra cualquier defecto estructural del fuste. No cubre el forrado de cuero ni los herrajes (eso es trabajo del talabartero, no nuestro).
Yes. 2-year factory warranty against any structural defect of the tree. Does not cover leatherwork or hardware (that's the saddler's work, not ours).
